Our MISSION is to glorify God by
making, maturing and mobilizing His disciples.
Together as a faith family, we envision our church would increasingly become an authentic, equipped, and prayerful Christian community that shows and shares the love of Christ as we pursue His promise to build His church.
In short - we believe the Lord put us in Mt. Olive to MAKE DISCIPLES. We are concerned with the āqualityā of a disciple not the quantity of disciples, so we are intentional in everything we do and we value commitment, transparency, and authenticity. The Bible shows us that the path of discipleship is a lifetime of following Jesus in community and we believe it is demonstrated in a discipleās life of witness as they WORSHIP Christ, they WALK with Christ, and they WORK for CHRIST.
As we make, mature and multiply disciples, we will all grow in our WORSHIP of Christ. Our sincerity and participation in our Sunday morning worship gatherings will increase as we each grow in our daily personal worship time through prayer and the Word.
Your WALK with Christ will also grow as we spend time together in mutual ministry and encouragement in our small groups. Our small groups are essential in the maturing process as we sincerely do life together with vulnerability and accountability.
We also grow in our WORK for Christ as we are equipped through worship, small groups, and training and opportunities to use our gifts and talents to minister and volunteer in various ministries throughout the church. And each of our lives of WORSHIP, WALK and WORK will serve as witnesses for CHRIST - showing and sharing His love with the world.

Our church holds to five āpillarsā which are biblical values that keep us from drifting from our mission and are crucial to making disciples.
- Unapologetic Preaching: proclaiming the authority of Godās Word without apology.
- Unashamed Adoration: lifting high the name of Jesus in worship.
- Unceasing Prayer: believing firmly in the power of prayer.
- Unafraid Witness: sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness.
- Uncommon Community: pursuing Christlikeness together in sincere communities.
We also have several values that are expressed as we seek to fulfill our mission maintaining these pillars. We value KIDs MINISTRY. We know that our first mission field is the home and we want to help children know Jesus Christ as we work to equip parents to fulfill their calling in the home. We also value WORSHIP. One of the most frequent commands in Scripture is to SING to the Lord. Our music is āverticalā and God centered and expressed in a contemporary style.
The third value is SMALL GROUPS. In order for us to fulfill all of the āone-anotherā passages: eg. love one another, serve one another, bear one anotherās burdensā¦ we need to spend time together and really know one another. Our inter-dependency and one-anotherness is facilitated through our small groups.
Our fourth value is perhaps our greatest - the LOVE of GOD. We believe that the root of many of our struggles is our doubting of our worth or of the love of God towards us. Through His Word, through the lifting high of the name of Jesus, we are confronted with the reality of the LOVE of GOD and through that reality we are being made new!
